The School-Based Partnerships team at Public Health–Seattle & King County (PHSKC) was thrilled to visit the Robert Eagle Staff Middle School School-Based Health Center (SBHC) on March 15. They were joined by staff and representatives from Neighborcare Health (the sponsor organization for the SBHC) including Chief Executive Officer, Rashad Collins. Staff from Seattle Public Schools (SPS) and the City of Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning participated as well.
The Eagle Staff SBHC opened in school year 2019-20 with funding from the 2018 City of Seattle Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise (FEPP) Levy. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and SPS visitor restrictions, this visit was postponed until the 2022-23 school year. And it was worth the wait!
Thank you to all the staff and partners that hosted us and joined in this special introduction to the Robert Eagle Staff SBHC!
