If you work with 2020 graduating high school seniors of Southeast Asian ancestry, they may be interested in applying for the following scholarship from the Nisei Student Relocation Commemorative Fund, Inc. At least 40 awards will be available.
Asian Counseling and Referral Services (ACRS) is hosting the following FREE events at 3639 Martin Luther King Jr Way S., Seattle, WA 98144 in support of students interested in applying for this scholarship:
- Tuesday, February 4, 2020 – 4:30-6:30pm
- This workshop will offer students a chance to work with staff, local scholarship committee members, and other students to work on their application, draft out their personal statement, strategize on how to get a great letter of reference, and have their questions answered.
- Fridays, February 7, 14, 21, and 28 – 2-4pm
- Drop in tutorial sessions will be available for students on a first-come, first-served basis at the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS). Staff and members from the local scholarship committee will be available to help students with their application and supplemental materials.
