Kaiser Permanente Washington is releasing an RFP for the planning of school-based health centers (SBHCs). The investment will support up to five collaborative partnerships in the planning and development of SBHCs for the purpose of improving the health of young people, promoting the full participation of SBHCs in our regional health care system and increasing access to care for the most vulnerable in our communities. This RFP expands Kaiser Permanente Washington’s existing investments in the SBHC model, which include the operation of five SBHCs in the Seattle School District, providing behavioral health staffing in three others and investing in the Washington School-Based Health Alliance.
Applicants are able to apply for up to $60,000 to support 10 months of planning. Applications must be emails to communityhealth.wa@kp.org by close of business on 9/27/18.
An information webinar will be held on 9/5/18 from 2:00-3:00pm. Details included in the RFP.
