This week the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced the availability of up to $10 million in funding for school health center capital investments.
The agency is expected to give up to 100 awards to currently operational school-based health centers for the purpose of increasing “access to mental health, substance abuse, and childhood obesity-related services.” The purpose of grant expenditures is limited to “minor alteration/renovation (A/R) projects and/or the purchase of moveable equipment, including telehealth equipment.”
Personnel and services are not allowable expenses of the grant. Click here for the notice of funding opportunity announcement (HRSA-19-073). Deadline to apply is April 17, 2018.
