During Summer 2017, Public Health–Seattle & King County (PHSKC) will host six student interns (age 15-20) who will act as peer mental health educators. They will support positive mental health promotion and suicide prevention in communities and schools in South and Central Seattle. Learn more about the project and how it came about in our previous blog post.

Student interns; Health Educator, David Wang; and representatives from Peach Delivery enjoy lunch at the Chinook Building in Downtown Seattle.
In addition to partners at the City of Seattle who have provided monetary and administrative support of this project, we would like to express sincere gratitude to Peach Delivery and Whole Foods Market for their generous contributions. Peach and Whole Foods are providing lunches and snacks for our student interns this summer, providing fuel for the important work that these peer educators are doing for Seattle youth.
Follow our generous donors on social media and give them a public shoutout for their support!
